Parents and guardians can tell Project AID Scholars what a student is working on, where support is needed, and what scheduling context matters. Matching depends on the request and approved volunteer availability.

What families can request
Family support can include homework help, reading practice, subject-focused tutoring, stronger study routines, learning resources, programs, and guidance toward a useful next step. The request should describe the student grade, subjects, goals, and any context that would help the team understand the need.
A request does not have to wait for an event date. Families can also browse reading activities, workshops, study materials, and the public resource library while Project AID Scholars reviews whether an appropriate resource, program, or approved volunteer is available.
A clear family support process
A parent or guardian creates the family request and keeps the student details and family contact information current. The organization reviews the academic need, then coordinates the next available resource, program, staff response, or volunteer match. Timing and subject matching depend on capacity and are not confirmed until the team follows up.
Registered families can keep relevant student details, messages, resources, and programs together. This helps tutors and staff work from accurate information and gives the family one place to follow the request instead of repeating the same context in unrelated forms.
Student privacy and realistic expectations
Parents or legal guardians should create or supervise accounts and submissions for children under 13. General contact messages should not contain sensitive student or payment information; the team can direct a family to the appropriate protected workflow when more detail is needed.
Tutoring and educational support are supplemental. Project AID Scholars does not promise a particular grade, test score, admission result, schedule, subject match, or other outcome. The goal is to provide an organized next step based on the request and available support.
