The terms describe account responsibilities, educational support limitations, volunteer expectations, student and guardian involvement, donations, acceptable use, and how to contact Project AID Scholars.
What you can expect
- Educational support does not promise a particular grade, admission result, or other guaranteed outcome.
- Users must provide accurate information and protect account credentials.

Accounts, eligibility, and safe use
Adults may use services for themselves or for a student they are authorized to support. A parent or legal guardian must create, approve, or supervise use for a child under 13. Volunteer, staff, leadership, and program roles may have age, safety, training, approval, or background requirements explained during application and review.
Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and report suspected unauthorized access. They may not misuse the service, impersonate another person, interfere with security, submit unlawful or harmful material, or expose private student information. Access may be restricted when needed to protect people, the organization, or the service.
Educational programs and outcomes
Tutoring, learning resources, mentorship, enrichment, events, and related support are provided through volunteers, staff, and community partners. Availability, scheduling, subjects, locations, and eligibility may change based on capacity and safety needs.
Educational support is supplemental and is not a substitute for a school, licensed teacher, counselor, medical professional, emergency service, or other professional advice. Project AID Scholars does not guarantee grades, test scores, admission, employment, project funding, or another specific outcome.
Submitted content and public resources
Project AID Scholars owns or licenses its website design, original text, logos, and program materials. Publicly offered educational materials may be used for personal, noncommercial learning unless an individual resource states different terms.
A contributor keeps ownership of submitted content while granting the organization a nonexclusive license to store, process, display, and share it as reasonably needed to operate the requested program or service. Contributors must have the right to submit the material, and volunteer resources require approval before public release.
Donation terms and recurring gifts
Donations are voluntary gifts supporting the charitable mission, with payments securely processed by Stripe. A gift does not purchase tutoring, admission, placement, recognition, or a particular result. Monthly gifts recur until canceled through a request that identifies the donor record.
Completed gifts are generally nonrefundable, but mistaken, duplicate, or unauthorized transactions may be reported for individual review. Donation receipts and tax treatment depend on the facts and applicable law; donors should consult their own tax adviser and may request a written acknowledgement for gifts of $250 or more.
