The team application explains available categories and collects the experience, interests, availability, and role-specific information needed for review. Submitting does not guarantee placement.
What you can expect

- Applicants should choose the role area that matches their actual skills and intended contribution.
- The organization reviews submitted information before making any assignment or publishing a role.
Current application tracks
The Media Team track covers public storytelling, social strategy, volunteer recognition, and program promotion. Applicants should be ready to share examples of audience growth, visual judgment, writing, editing, or campaign execution.
The Technology and Communications track focuses on the website, technical profile, communications systems, and online resources families use. The Regional Director track is for applicants prepared to build or strengthen a local chapter, recruit volunteers, form community partnerships, and keep regional programs accountable.
What applicants should prepare
The application asks for a reliable contact email, relevant experience, proof of prior work, useful skills, availability, and a concrete vision for the selected role. Applicants also explain what they would do first and how their plan could create measurable value for families, students, volunteers, or supporters.
Scenario questions examine prioritization, communication, risk, and organizational judgment when a decision is not simple. Strong answers connect ambition to practical capacity, student safety, program quality, and follow-through rather than promising results the organization cannot responsibly deliver.
How submission and review work
Applicants review their answers before sending and confirm that the submitted information is accurate. Project AID Scholars uses the application for recruitment, evaluation, and program administration, and authorized personnel involved in selection review the information.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, selection, assignment, or published title. The general volunteer path remains separate and is the appropriate starting point for tutoring, direct program help, resource preparation, and other student-support service.
